Meet The Trustees!

Pat Taylor (Chair)
"My name is Pat; I am married with two grown up boys, and class myself as a housewife, with life experiences.
I have worked in various roles throughout my life, from office work, working for a magazine publication, domestic assistant for the NHS, kitchen assistant in a care home setting, that then led to the position of Cook, Supervisor/Assistant Manager in a retail food store; this is where I gained my NVQ in Customer Services and Management. Unfortunately I had to give this up due to health reasons.
I like to meet people from all walks of life; I like to think that I am a good listener with a caring side. My hobbies and interest are; Sewing, at the start of the pandemic I was part of the 'For the Love of Scrubs', sewing scrubs, theatre gowns etc. for the NHS, we are all very proud of what we did when our community needed us the most. I like to bake at home, going away for short breaks and holiday in Cape Verde, what I like to call my happy place. I also love to go fishing; nothing beats sitting by the pond early in the morning, so peaceful with just nature to entertain.
I am also a Trustee of the Grantham Almshouses Charity, in Scartho."

Trish Fuller
Prior to retiring I was employed by the Local Authority for over 25 years. As part of my role, I undertook a Practice Teachers Qualification to enable me to teach/supervisestudents undertaking degrees. Since retiring I took an IT qualification to gain a wider understanding of using computers to produce spreadsheets etc. Following completion of the course I had freetime available and wanted to spend it usefully. My husband suggested volunteering at Foresight as he was already a Trustee. I commenced volunteering late 2017, working in a class for Beneficiaries who enjoyed Arts and Crafts. I later organised and taught a craft class myself both in Newmarket Street, Grimsby and The Scunthorpe Centre. Whilst I no longer organise classes I continue to enjoy working with the Beneficiaries and continue to be both a Volunteer and a Trustee.
